Atrium provides a supportive, nurturing environment for our younger members to feel safe and respected as they begin learning about themselves as learners. Preschool and Kindergarten students are eased into the academic atmosphere through many daily activities that incorporate emergent literacy skills, music, movement, games, writing, coloring, dramatic play, and social interaction.
Throughout elementary school, students grow increasingly independent and take on more challenging problems while growing both intellectually and emotionally. Students gain and exercise critical thinking and problem-solving skills across multiple curricular areas through a collaborative, balanced, hands-on curriculum. Our small class sizes and tight-knit community creates an environment where students are supported.
Atrium Middle School is designed to engage and challenge. In a commitment to educating the whole child, core studies are balanced with time dedicated to students’ social, emotional, physical, and artistic growth. Our goal is to help students be kind, conscientious, ethical, and proactive members of the communities they will join after their time at Atrium.
